Toota pays homage to the ageing and dilapidated street furniture Trent Jansen encountered on his journeys in India. Toota, the Hindi word for broken, references the canny adaptation and repurposing of these public furniture elements. Jansen merges the perceived function of public seating components to produce an honest interpretation of the common form.
